I'd like to add that even though you're not on meds, having a regular check-up with your doctor is good for you. Just so you can keep track of your BP. Also, it would help if you know how to check your BP at home. There are easy to use electronic BP monitors found in the market nowadays, so you don't really have to use the mercury or aneroid sphygmomanometers anymore.

You should make changes in your lifestyle such as losing weight, eating a good/healthy diet, reducing your salt intake, stop smoking/drinking alcohol, and take regular exercise. Making these choices reduces the need for medication, but still seek regular check ups with your doctor.

Research shows nearly 1/3 pf people who have hypertension don't know it or feel it. The only way to find out is getting blood pressure on a regular basis. If blood pressure is high, symptoms are severe headache, fatigue, vision problems, chest pain, difficulty breathing, irregular heartbeat and blood in urine. If you are experiencing any symptoms, see a doctor immediately. Untreated high blood pressure can lead to stroke, heart disease, kidney failure, and eye problems.Treating high blood pressure take a multi-approached to diet changes, medication and exercise.

Unfortunately, hypertension does not show symptoms. Hence, hypertension is called the ‘silent killer’ because it has no symptoms. Preventive action is the best cure for hypertension. It needs a multi-pronged approach like regular exercise, diet control and daily medication to control hypertension.

Pharmacist now adays hast BP monitors where you can measure your blood pressure. Dash diet is one diet plan that helps a person lower high blood pressure. Because a main part of these diets are vegetables. Since vveggies is highr in protein and potassium and also helps to absoorb the sodium in your body.

High salt content, too much stress may cause hypertension. Manage your stress and eat less potato chips, salty food and eat lots of vegetables. Exercising helps a lot too to destress and relieve indirectly the hypertension. I think there is a link between hypertension and heart problem. You may like to have your blood pressure checked periodically. I think it is best to visit a doctor for professional advice.

There are herbs that you can take to lower down your blood pressure like Capsicum, Gotu kola, garlic, coenzyme Q10, don quai and yarrow. But its not necessary not to take oral meds just these herbs. Its better to consult your doctor for the right prescription for meds and herbs.

It is also classified as hypertension. If your blood pressure reading is 130/90, you are already considered hypertensive. Blood pressure reading that will go over this will cause nausea and it is considered high blood pressure.

Eating high salt content and too much stress are symptoms of hypertension. To prevent it, do not eat food high in sodium and get enough sleep to have a stress free life.

All I know is nausea, vomiting and neck pain. People that have hypertension can only feel this symptom if their blood pressure level went up from 140 – 180 degrees systolic.
