Do you mean Type D personality that suffers most from emotional distress or who are severely stress? Studies show that this personality are at great risk of dying from heart disease and have poor quality of life. Type D patients needs psychiatric treatments to reduce stress and enhance their quality of life.

I presume few of us know about type D stress. However, the letter D in type D stress stands for distressed. Type D people tend to be anxious, irritable and insecure. They keep an eye out for trouble rather than pleasure. People with type D personalities seem to have more highly activated immune system and more inflammation, which could mean more damage to blood vessels in the heart and throughout the body. They also tend to have exaggerated blood pressure and other reactions to stress.

Stress alone can cause heart failure and disease to a person. Stress from work, people and situations tends to be the biggest factor for a person to get heart disease. They forget eating healthy foods, exercising and resting.

I agree, although at some point in time I think a person that is stressed out doesn't neccessarily forget to eat healthy so much as just not having an appetite. Exercise is usually the last thing on a persons mind and as for resting, well your to busy being thinking about whatever it is that is stressing you out

This is very interesting, please elaborate on the four types of stress that you mentioned or give a web site that may have this information.

Stressed people need to relax so that they will not have disease such as hypertension and heart problem. They can do these activities like walking, yoga, aromatherapy, glass of wine per day, hot shower and eat the right food.

This is a new info to me. In my opinion, there is no classification for stress and it could lead to some serious illness like heart condition.

All types of stress can cause heart problems and conditions. Better to stay away or eliminate stress.
