Hoodia may seem to work for other people but others claim it's not helping them. Even if it's the popular weight loss topic today, personally, anything new doesn't appeal to me, i don't trust new products easily.
You are right to not trust new products, as most are fake or terrible. And even though just about every hoodia product on the market doesn't work (because it is fake), there are a couple of organizations that test hundreds of products on the market and report which products DO actually work.
Why take a chance? Let these big companies do the testing for you and then follow their lead. Would you trust what Consumer Reports tells you? How about Hoodia Testing Facilities?
I'm using hoodia with great results. I picked a brand that people were raving about. But I did my own research after this and confirmed the results. I even called the lab that supposedly did the testing on the product. Like I said, I did my homework big time.
And for the rest of you who say its a waste, perhaps it is to you. Maybe you have the ability to curb your appetite easily. For many of us, we need that little extra boost to carry us through our new diet programs after years of bad eating habits. When you've become accustomed to eating 3 huuuuge meals that are 2,500 calories each (7,500 total for the day), its very, very hard to go back to eating 2,000 calories per day without assistance.
Think about where other people are in their pursuit before you blindly criticize people for seeking an easy route.
Sorry if I sound upset, but things like this erk me, especially when it is said by thin people who have never had to deal with situations like many of us are in.
