What exercises are best for the butt? I want to make mine smaller, if possible, or firmer.

Here are some exercises that I would recommend you to do for toning your lower body muscles: plank pose, standing bicycle, side winder, seesaw and forward bend. You may ask your gym instructor to demonstrate the exercises.

If you are not going to the gym try walking on stairs, jogging and riding a bicycle.

Biking and walking can tone your lower body muscles. If you want to target your buttocks, you must do leg raiser and military leg raiser.

Walking up and down the stairs is a good workout for the butt. It will help the butt muscle be firm and tight. It also exercises the calf and legs muscles.

Running is one good source of exercise that tone butt muscles. If your tired of running and walking on stairs, you could enroll to a gym that has kickboxing and also hiking.

Bending your knees and back could also help tone the butt. Walking has a lot of benefits to us. It can be a good cardio exercise and strengthen the legs.

Squats and leg raiser can definitely tone your butt muscles. You must also have a good diet program to achieve a firm butt.
