Get some fiber in the morning like oatmeal and put berries on it. Snack on bananas, apples, or other fruits. You can take whole wheat toast, too.

For lunch, you need to take some protein, chicken or beef is best. For dinner, you can have fish or chicken and some veggies - get greens as those are the ones most packed with nutrients.

A balanced meal is that which has enough from all the food groups like cereals, pulses, fruits, vegetables, milk etc. Leafy vegetables and fruits are the best. They are a rich source of nutrition.

A balanced meal for me can be determined by the content of your food. I mean, it must have protein, fiber, vitamins, calorie and low in fat and sodium.

Joe is correct. A balanced meal should have these types of nutrients for energy, strengthening the immune system and toning muscles.

Hello Friends......

A balanced meal is one which contains a healthy variety of foods, giving you a number of different nutrients, including carbohydrates, proteins, vitamins and minerals, possibly fiber, possibly omega-3 fatty acids.

Thanks

Hi

Getting all of the vitamins and nutrients you need. not eating too much or too less of something. starving yourself or binging is the farthest from a balanced meal. if you follow the food pyramid you are going to be pretty close to a balanced meal. but getting a good portion of each food group is what a balanced meal is, because you are balancing how much you each in each group. liek if you ate only protein and fat like when you go on the atkins diet, it is not balanced because you are not taking in enough carbs but are taking in too much fat. balanced meal also means not eating too much sweets and sodium, or whatever is bad for the body.

Have a nice time ahead.

health meal
= about 30% protein, about 20% to 30% fats, and about 40% to 50% carbs in terms of calories
= contain sufficient micronutrients + water.
= sufficient fiber to moderate digestion speed and cleansing of intestines
= sufficient calories to support daily activities
= regular food + food supplements

8 to 10 glasses of water per day, depending on built/weight and activity.
Eat 7 to 9 servings of fruits and vegetables per day.

follow the food pyramid that has fruits and vegetables at the bottom -- that is, recommending consumption of largest portions relative to other parts of the pyramid.
