What's the difference between heart failure and heart attack? Is there any difference at all or it is one and the same? Looking forward to your feed back.

HEART FAILURE is a condition where the heart cannot pump enough blood throughout the body while HEART ATTACK occurs when the supply of blood and oxygen to an area of heart muscle is blocked,usually by a clot in a coronary artery.

Just to add something too, a heart failure is another term for congestive heart failure, which can be left sided or right sided. Either the heart chamber is not filled with blood or the heart cannot effectively pump the blood out to the lungs (right-sided) or systemic circulation (left-sided). When one side of the heart fails, the other side usually follows.

Heart attack, also called myocardial infarction in medical terms, usually results from a clot blocking the flow of the blood, hence the heart does not get oxygen. Lack of oxygen produces chest pain.

A heart attck is occured when oxygen and blood supply in the hearth is blocked byt clot in the soronary artery. These blocked leads to irregular heartbeat and arrythimia. While heat failure is congestive heart failure. is a conditioni which the heart cannot pump blood to supply in to other body parts and orgnas.

Heart attack and failure is connected on heart disease. Once you have heart failure it is define that inailty to pump blood and there is a blockage that stops the heart from pumping once the heart stops thats the time you will have heat attck or cardiac arrest.
