Can some one suggest me foods that are rich in potassium?

The following foods are rich in potassium.

bananas, dates and honeydew
raw bamboo shoots and water chestnuts
beet greens, black-eyed peas, cooked chard and raw chicory
potatoes, cooked spinach and winter squash
skim milk
broccoli, beets, brussels sprouts, carrots, cauliflower, collards, lima beans, mushrooms, pumpkin, tomatoes and sweet potatoes
salmon, tuna and flounder
turkey, ham and roasted chicken

Large doses may cause stomach upsets, intestinal problems or heart rhythm disorder

White meats, root vegetables, and fresh fruit, along with dairy are good sources of potassium

Apricots, avocado, banana, beets, brussel sprouts, kiwi, lima beans, oranges, pears, dry unsalted peanuts, baked potatoes

Dried Apricots
Avocados, raw
Bananas, raw
Beets, cooked
Brussel sprouts
Cantaloupe
Dried Dates
Dried Figs
Kiwi fruit, raw
Lima beans
Melons, honeydew
Milk, fat free or skim
Nectarines
Orange juice
Oranges
Pears (fresh)
Peanuts dry roasted, unsalted
Pomeganites
Potatoes, baked
Prune juice
Dried Prunes
Raisins
Spinach, cooked
Tomato products
Winter squash
Yogurt plain, skim milk

^No, we have to level the potassium in our body. Too much potassium can lead to kidney problems and blood clotting.

That’s why we need to balance each nutrients and vitamins we take. Too much of something can sometimes harm the body. Best to go to a nutritionist to have a balance diet plan.
