(makes them less sticky, less likely to clot) Per my rheum MD, he says that the blood that lines the uterus is simply shedding, it accumulated in the event that a follicle is implanted, it is not active bleeding therefore should not lengthen your periods nor make them heavier. That being said, I just started Asa 81mg per day and my period this month is HEAVY and much brighter than usual. I will be seeing a hemeatologist soon and will let ya know his take on things.
