I never knew there were SOO many different brands until I started using this, and I stupidly thought all hoodia was the real deal, I guess I thought very wrong LOL.

So having realized there are so many different variations of pills, have you ever popped any before? Was it worth it? Or did you suffer any of the strange side effects? Just was wondering..I learn so much from this site and am keen to learn more!

No, I have never tried any and don't have any desire to. God knows what are in them, I mean half of them don't even specify what sort of chemicals etc are in them. Why should be fuel our bodies with trash we don't need when we can lose weight the good old fashioned way??

Folks i think he is referring to "diet pills" as an herbal supplement aid for weight loss.....ie hoodia (which he states in his post).....
Now to answer your question:
Yes I have used "diet pills" before in my pasts....these include thermogenics with and without ephedra, but to tell you the truth the thermogenics will not be all that effective if the diet and exercise plan are not geared toward a specific goal

Yeah, I bought some random brand of eBay, I lost a few lbs at the start but that was it really. Not what they're hyped up to be IMO.

tomkins - diet pills help speed up weight loss, there are loads of different types containing fat burners and loads are REALLY bad as in ones containing ephedra so they're not thought highly of. g_lee what made you think he was talking about hoodia? :S

never thought he (tomkins) was talking about hoodia....i was only pointing out what the OP used as a reference as to what a type of diet pill he was talking about:

I stupidly thought all hoodia was the real deal, I guess I thought very wrong LOL.

and then we get the line here which clearly shows that tomkins is not thinking along the same lines:

like a diet in pill form or what?

Also to say that the "REALLY" bad diet pills are the ones that contain ephedra is just not all that accurate....yes, a few unfortunate incidents happened to some people who took thermos with ephedra (probably taken incorrectly) and it showed up in their bloodwork post-life (lack of better term), this doesnt necessarily mean that the Ephedra was the primary cause....sure its a good scape goat......lets take the Baseball player from the Orioles.....he reported to spring training overweight and out of shape from the fall off-season........what does he do? he begins supplementing with ephedra based thermos cause he has to get leaner real quick...to hit his target weight by a certain date...not to mention he had cardiac issues before hand ie high cholestrol possibly borderline high blood pressure.......(all off memory...as it pissed me off back then too)

Having the government save us from our selves...(im all for some type of regs on testing to make sure the stuff is legit and all that stuff)................................. because as a society if the bottle says take 2 caps daily, society says hell if 2 caps works 4 will work a whole lot better and i might not have to cut out that hamburger

I can speak from personal experience that the brand 'Hoodia Prime' which I found out about through these forums, works well for me. Do a search here on this site and you'll find plenty of others that describe their erxperiences with hoodia. No side effects at all.

I never try any diet pills because I heard different horror stories like the chemicals it uses. I don’t think it is effective.

I've heard reports about them that make me think they're bad bad products, but then I'm not one to kick something unless I've tried it. I wouldn't mind trying Trimspa, but I will stick with my dieting and exercise for now smile

The only diet pill I would ever recommend to a client who was headstrong on using a diet aid pill would be Xtreme Lean,
Burns fat, boost metabolism, europhine free, and contains simple ingrediants!

Yes, Ive tried it but the label has a full diet plan laid out. So after I lost around 5 pounds, I stopped taking them because I need to go through a diet anyway. No need for me to spend money on pills.

Diet pills do NOT work! If that was the case everyone would be taking them and become skinny. We'd live in a really skinny and slim society, which is just NOT the case!

Don't buy into the diet pill crap. They simply do not work at all. Just do regular exercises and get your butt in gear and eat healthy.

What's Xtreme Lean like? Does it work? I'm intrigued! I wouldn't mind trying the Hoodia Prime.
