Hi peeps! I recently started my weight training program. its a weight gain program and I really need advice about what foods to eat. I'm not rich so expensive supplements, protein drinks, amino acid capsules are out of the question. Plus I wan't my effort to be 100% natural (at least diet wise).

I know I should eat beef for the protein, and carbs for the energy. what else?

I think the magic is in the quantity, type and timing of carbs, especially if you don't want to put on a bunch of excess body fat. But I like your thoughts on beef - helps with creatine, minerals, and the saturated fats are great for hormonal production. If you can find grain fed beef all the better.

I agree here, and I would try and get at least the 90-95% Lean Beef.....fats are important as well (the good fats):well for your fats Mono and Poly you can look into eating nuts like almonds and pecans (of the raw variety)

Foods such as Turkey, tuna, eggs, etc as long as high in protein can help you build and tone your muscles. No jnk foods and other food that is oily and has more fat content in it is bad for people who wants to get into shape.

Food like turkey, tuna, and eggs are rich in protein. Protein is the number one source of good muscle builup. You can also combine it with vegetables and fruits.

Protein is considered muscle building food. Try to eat 4-5 eggs a day but it must be boiled and do not eat the egg yolk.

Yes, that’s protein buildup. Eating the boiled egg whites gives pure protein to build healthy muscles. The funny thing is that the egg yolk doesn’t have any use at all.
