AD-36 linked to obesity?

I read somewhere in a magazine last month that scientists had found strong evidence that links a certain human adenovirus or AD-36 to obesity. Although the experiments were conducted on chickens and mice, were there studies that suggest this is also true to humans? I find little materials or information about this in the web. Anybody has the idea?

In a research conducted in Obetech Obesity Research Center in Richmond, Virginia it was found that of the 502 blood samples of people 30% of the obese ones had anti-bodies to Ad-36. They weighed 22kg more on average than those without the manifestation of Ad-36 infection. It was also found that when Ad-36 enters fat cells, it stimulates fat production and triggers the cells to store fat faster. what the

In that case we can get obesity the way we catch a could. Now, this is interesting.
