Glad to know that Bobby, I was only curious about the operation. You look terrific in your picture.

Bobby, sorry, but for me, surgery is not the answer. I was weighing 225lbs and then I tried to eat low carb diet and went to the gym. In 2 months, I lost 20lbs.

Bobby, did you go on a diet after your gastric balloon surgery?

Bobby,
First of all, congratulation on your successful surgery. It has been two months since your last post. How are you doing now? Have you lost more weight?

According to my BMI I am catagorized as being obese. Although, it does not appear to be so. I am 5'10" and the weight does not look bad unless you are looking at the scale and I am starting to feel sluggish as I am not use to being this size. For years I maintained a weight of 160-165 lbs. After having a hysterectomy I put on weight and have not been able to get rid of it.

Bobby just got this operation for $5000 and if you go to the US this could be double or triple the price.

A friend of mine had this procedure and her insurance covered alot of the expense due to the fact of her being obese and diabetic. This has been some years ago but it seem to be certain circumstances that will allow your insurance to cover a great portion of the expense.

If anyone is considering it, you may want to check with your insurance company to see what coverage they provide.

Your insurance will greatly cover it if you need this to prevent or part of the treatment of your disease.
