I am very overweight, to the point that I don't feel comfortable in my skin any more. What's more, I feel like my health is deteriorating. I don't feel like doing things that I used to enjoy. I find comfort only in eating. It seems that food is becoming my only pleasure in life. I have a busy career and three children, as well as a husband who needs me. What diet plan do you recommend most for people who are considering weight loss surgery but want one last chance to lose it naturally?

I can appreciate your frustration as well as the notion of having a busy life (boy, can I ever).

I am penning a diet as we speak that will be put out in mini e-book fashion actually as an adjunct to a couple ideal supplement scenarios.

I am hoping it will be sent out to all that are subscribers of this forum - free of charge by the way.

Please hold on a little longer as various types of weight loss surgeries (bypass, banding, etc...) are NOT side-effect free.

Hello mspicer.

I think the right thing to do is to take the first step. Minimize your portions and step onto the treadmill. Eat frequent but small meals and stay away from the sweets and oily foods. Record down everything you eat so you can monitor yourself.

Get on the treadmill for 15 mins and gradually increase everyday till you can do around 30-45 mins.

Of course, it's different for every person and we all lose weight at our own pace. But I'm just saying this because I used to weigh 170 pounds and now I'm 115. And this happened because I decided one day to take one step at a time.

Anything is possible, don't lose hope but it takes time, hardwork and discipline. One step at a time is something than doing nothing at all. Your family needs you and wants to have a healthy you for a long time. Take care of yourself, love yourself and stay healthy.
