CureYourBody.com is excited to announce the launch of
its new forums. The next several months will be critical to setting up the
forums the way you want them to be. So
if you feel we should add more categories or sub forums, please let us know.
We'll add sub forums on our own as well, if we feel a
large number of posts are being made on a specific topic. For example, "Colon Cleansing" was added as a sub forum to the Gastroenterology forum since there seems
to be a lot of posts for that specific subject.
I intend on losing 10-15 pounds in the next 30 days. June 23rd-July 23rd
I might even lose more. I am serious about this.
I will be eating less and exercising 5 times a week for 30-60 minutes. I also do weight training, so I will keep you guys posted.
Will be following along...goodluck
What does your current diet look like? As far as grams of Carbs/Fats/Protein daily? How many meals daily are you planning? The reason for asking is two fold: 1. It will let others in on what you are doing and might aid in their plight 2. It will allow those on here that have a vast knowlege of this area to aid your journey
exercising 5 times a week for 30-60 minutes. I also do weight training
So is weight lifting secondary to your other exercising? I guess i am confused by the above statments
Good luck! This diet actually sounds pretty healthy for a change. Good for you. And remember that you're doing this for you, not for some media-imposed ideal image.
How are you doing on this plan so far mickey? I would like to know more details on what you are doing so that maybe I can start a good weight loss plan since I just had a baby in february and haven't lost a single pound. (I have these adorable jeans I want to get back in.haha)
I commend you on your effort. I recently also went through this type of stage in my struggle against the bulge. I was on fire for the first three three weeks, but then i got burnt out. My doctor said this will happen eventually. Setting weight loss targets is good, but give yourself more slack, say 3-5 pounds a week. That way, if you only lose the minimum, you won't feel too bad about it. In the end, its not about how fast, but how much. Good luck, I'm rootin' for yah!
In some cases, the loss of weight may be intentional. Such situations occur when the individual is attempting to improve health, fitness or appearance either with the assistance of a specialized health, fitness or appearance either with the assistance of a specialized health care professional or by themselves. The loss of body weight comes as a result of a negative energetic balance - as in the organism consumes more energy than it is able to gain from food and nutritional supplements. Most commonly, health care professionals recommend a combination of a dietary regimen and physical exercise to patient that wish to loss weight.
