I read in another category here about collagen supplements and this had me thinking.

If we had more collagen in our bodies, wouldn't it spread to our face also?

I was thinking about getting collagen supplements but am not so sure if they work?? Any insights would be really appreciated.

There are many different types of collagen. In particular a good rule of thumb is that type I tends to represent more of the bony structures and type II and IV the cartilagenous structures. The other plethora are a bit different.

I wrote on supplements to increase collagen repair for rotator cuff injury recovery in the past, but I am curious if you have anything in particular in mind that you'd like to accomplish with the supplement?

I used to take collagen supplements in my early 20's...I could swear they were making my skin healthier and more fresh and radiant.

If you took collagen in your 20s, when you would think most people wouldn't think to, and they worked well, why did you stop taking them? angel
