All I can say is....Prayer works!

It depends on the individual tho. Everyone has a different perspective of what/who God is.

Prayer is a way of working with the universal power of existence and making it work for you.

If your a good person and you ask ,you will get.

Prayer is always beneficial. Especially in any medical or psychological crisis. There is a "universal energy" in this world, it would be naive to deny it.

I am not religious at all. But I do know that prayer is often overlooked as a healing mechanism.

A lot can be said about prayer. If it's something that's in dire need, then prayer is certainly a good practice to develop. Getting close to one's creator can be a really beautiful thing.

Prayer definitely works guys. But if you don't really believe in it , it won't work. You have to have a high belief in yourself for prayer to be effective. It's like magic almost, if you don't believe, it won't work.

Do you think of prayer as a form of meditation? Then I think that the answer is yes. Also depends how much you believe in it. If you're already asking this kind of question, then you must be quite the believer.

I believe in God. Prayer cannot cure, it is God. And prayer is your only way to talk to God and ask Him to heal you. I believe that God heals.

I think general health and consequently, recovery from illness is affected very much by state of mind. If you have a healthy state of mind, then you usually are healthy and recover from disease pretty well. it has something to do with your mind and the proper function of the immune system I guess. Prayer does that. It puts you into a great state of mind and therefore could theoretically allow your mind and body to work together and heal faster. bouncy smile

Prayer takes the burden off of you. You surrender to God your worries and sickness. I say this promotes the overall well-being of a person. it also makes one want to become healthy again and aligns his or habits towards getting well.

I will only agree under certain conditions. That the prayer is done together with following the advice of your physician.

There are some people who seem to believe that prayer alone will cure them. That to me is a load of bu**. They say "God will help me, i trust in him." Well god gave you educated doctors you twit so follow their advice!

Sorry, i have really strong feelings about this topic....

Yes, Prayer is a certain cure provided you have faith and confidence in what you are seeking. The results are directly proportional to the amount of faith you have in your prayer. If you have one hundred per cent faith, the results will be like wise. You may call it God, Infinite Intelligence, Higher Intelligence or by whatever name you may give. Faith is the corner stone of any prayer. Sincere prayer never failed anyone.

It definitely helps IMO, faith brings a lot of people through life. It's just another healing process, a spiritual walk if you like. The day people start saying religion should be banned will be the day this earth falls apart, but that's a different story..

Prayer IMHO really works to help heal the body from within. It can also help keep disease away from you. If you firmly "believe" in something, it will happen and manifest. Your mind is a powerful tool for producing desired outcome.

Work with your creator and mold the life you always wanted.

Please do not confuse prayer with medicine. Medicine treats the body while prayer treats the mind. Undoubtedly, there is body mind connection; and both prayer and medicine play a vital role. Both are required for effective and fast treatment. One cannot be excluded at the cost of the other. Best results are always achieved in combination. Prayer is as much required as medicine.

Best wishes.

Personal prayer or asking help for healing may not be 100% results to cure but sick or not we should be prayerful for the blessings we receive. I also believe that the best we can give back for all the abundance in our life is by taking good care of our health, physically, mentally, emotionally and psychologically. We have the opportunity to make the most of our life instead of looking and frustrating ourselves of what we don't have.

I pray because it helps me to believe that my God will heal me even if medical help fails.

Prayer isn't only about asking for help. It's also a time to thank God for all the blessings that are given to you. How it helps healing, you ask - eventually, you will realize how lucky and blessed you are - I tell you, it makes you feel good about yourself and your life.

Religious people believe it can really help, since God can do anything. I suggest to take all the practical cures available and then pray.

Have you ever prayed for someone who was taken to a Hospital, and found that it worked. I believe in the Power of Prayer- no reason or logic but pure simple faith that it works, and it does.

Prayer does make a difference! I have never questioned whether it works or not. It makes me happy, and I believe in my prayers. You nullify the effect you create with your prayer if you say a prayer and afterwards question or doubt it.

Hi, I believe that praying is the one most effective action anyone can take. By prayer I mean though praying to God in Jesus' Name. I believe that He is the way, the truth and the life. Thus, when we pray to Him we are strengthrning our connection to the source of all life, I sometimes consider the analogy (though a poor one and no way complete) of more firmly making an electrical connection. Since He is the Alpha and the Omega, and since His will is done on Earth as it is in Heaven, who better to speak to than our Father, our Lord or His Spirit? It is that if He does not exist than none of this matters anyhow, yet since He does He is who He said He is. Further I do also believe that there is a spiritual connection to all sickness or disease. Consider please that it is not the visible that makes the invisible but rather that the invisible makes that which is seen. Aren,t all our thoughts and beliefs about healing and disease often no more than theories and/or opinions? Of course we have no logical or scientific way to explain the miraculous, and God knows that we need the miraculous. Isn,t your life a miracle? If man can create things like this computer what can God not do? If my health improves it will be to the glory of God, His is all the praise and all the glory, in Jesus' Name. Whether medicine, drugs, herbs, doctors and even prayers are involved, my being (wellbeing or not) is connected directly to Him. He does have the world in His Hands and though it is important for us beyond words to believe, it is in our hearts that that belief exists not in our minds necessarily. And whether we admit or realize it or not we do belong to Him and His will be done. God is love, and what value is life without love? And as He has told us, love never fails. He is in our hearts, doesn,t need an invitation, better if we know too in our minds but you know He is the truth in your heart right now, because we are in Him and He is in us. I hope He keeps us all safe and warm, Charles
