I am posting here my results from gastric bypass surgery. I won't add pictures because I am STILL not comfortable with myself.

I was 330 pounds on April 1st , 2007 when I went in the have the surgery done(after months of tests and doctor assessments).

Gastric bypass was the best thing that's ever happened to me. I saw was because now I have a new light on weight loss and how much of a eating frenzy pig I was.

I am down now to 200 pounds and am the happiest I ever been in my life.

I now workout every single day for 35 minutes doing high intensity workouts and weight lifting occasionally also.

I would recommend everyone; don't eat like a pig! It's not worth it, the agony and the pain.

Now all I have to do is have some plastic surgery to get rid of the hanging skin all over my body.

Other than that I look great! Healthy living and fitness really pays off, I look forward to reading up more on this forum!

Congrats on your weight loss goals. I personally also think that humans just eat way too much these days, it's disgusting. Even I have period of over eating and I hate it!

Sometimes a good reality slap in the face is a good thing. Keep up your success and kudos to you for staying optimistic! Don't ever give up mate

I hope you keep off all your weight now. I lived with a flat mate that was obese and had the gastric bypass surgery also and after he had the surgery,he had lost about 60 pounds...But mind you, this guy was like 500 pounds to begin with.

Well to make a long story short, he was so gluttonous that he gained all the weight back and then some after a year or so.

He used to disgust me with all the food he had around the house. Not only that but he used to pee himself also, YUCK!

But anyways, I'm happy to see your success and think it's great. Keep up the good work, you got so far so stick with your plan you've made.

That’s an interesting story Mia. My question would be, how much is your gastric balloon surgery? There is a poster here also have undergone the same procedure as yours and he only had his for a cheap price.

This is kind of cheating on losing weight like liposuction. I guess if you have lots of money to spend then it’s better to do this but I still prefer on no pain no gain attitude.

I saw a picture of a poster here about gastric balloon surgery. He is really fat and I think diet and exercise won’t help him loose those pounds. It depends on how much you weight to determine if you will have this gastric bypass surgery.

I’m just wondering, what would be the long term effect of gastric balloon surgery?
