Hi Everyone, I'm brand new to these forums and hopefully will gain a lot of new information. I'm trying to lose weight- at least 20 pounds, and I also have an issue with belly fat. I gained the weight after I was given Radioactive Iodine to destroy my thyroid. I am now on thyroid medication but cannot seem to lose the weight or fat. I do not eat bread and have given up soda and juices of any kind. I was also given a diagnosis of copd with bronchitis but have not even had a cold in several years. Can copd clear up? I didn't think that it could. Trying to lose this weight is very frustrating. I was always thin and loved it. When I see myself now I get angry. Hopefully I will lose the weight for good this time.
