If so , what has your results been like? I am looking into going on phase 1 to lose weight quickly.

South beach diet is a great way to lose weight really, really quickly!

I normally only do phase 1, the other phases seem useless to me. I do like regularity without restrictions.

I lost approx. 12 pounds in the first week. I also did exercises daily for 20 minutes while on phase 1 which lasts 2 weeks exactly. Try it, it really works!

The south beach diet is THE easiest diet I ever went on.

The only drawback? You really have to make your own meals like ALL the time. and also pre-make them when you leave the door because it's hard to eat out at restaurants on this diet.

I also counted calories and each day I ate 1300 calories whilst on this diet and combined cardio 5 times a week and lost 15 pounds in the 2 weeks.

Everyone was commenting and asking me what secret I was using, it was great.

I'm a huge fan of the south beach diet. It really works to help you lose weight quickly. One the negative, it does cause bad breathe after a week or so, so I would brush extra while on this diet and use scope!

I tried South Beach before, it is similiar to Adkins. I found it was very easy to stick with but it does (as someone mentioned here) cause bad breath. Nothing a few certs can't counter, lol. The most important thing to remember about any diet is that instant results can indicate that the weight won't stay off long. Aim for long term results by changing the way you eat for life, and remember that exercise is not only good for weight loss, but it strengthens your heart as well.

I tried South Beach, but I am sorry to report that it left me wanting more. I don't like the restrictive eating on these types of diets. I need to eat things that I like, and South Beach had very little to offer.

I agree with you, I don't think i can say goodbye to carbs, although there is a South Beach Diet guide for beginners, i still find it hard and complicated to follow through.

Wow, that sounds great. If you don't mind me asking, what weight were you when you started the diet?!

My friends actually tried it and it is effective to him. But the dis advantage is that its too expensive for this diet because of the food that is included on this diet plan. I suggest him to substitute the food thats in the diet plan.

Could i ask a question? Before i do, i just wanna say that i mean it only as a question⁢ isnt meant to be rude or anything but why would someone want to do South beach where you have to give up your carbs&fruits; when on the WW Core its the same thing except you can have the same foods and the carbs too?
