Hi there. I have eczema on my elbow and it gets very very itchy when it attacks. I am using this steroid medication that my dermatologist prescribed. So far it's working well. I would like to know usually how long this lasts and do you have any practice to make the healing much faster? Thanks much.

Hi moondance. I don't know if your med is the same as mine but anyway, if it's not, ask your doctor about elidel. very mild and no problem with its availability. You can buy it on almost any [color=red]Moderator's Note: affiliate link removed out there once prescribed. So far it's been a very good help to me. Have a great day!

Moondance, you can try to buy those anti-eczema creams that are out in the market. Better yet go to a dermatologist and have it checked.

Hypo-allergenic soap is good for removing acne on your elbows. A trip to your dermatologist would be a great help. smile

Those germicidal creams for eczema really don’t heal the condition. It only prevents from inflammation and serious skin rashes.

I have tried one cream before to remove eczema on the elbows but sorry forgot the name already. After I used that, I always put lotion after 1-2 hours and it really removes the eczema and softens my elbows.

Is there any skin irritation when you used this product?
