Here at CYB Central we have decided the Cure Your Body is in need of an overhaul. Since the site has launched we have steadily grown and now we have become too big for our britches.

Since all of you spend so much of your time here asking and answering great questions, we want to know what you would like to see in the "new and improved" CYB.

Functionality, Features, its all open for discussion. This Topic will remain open for the next 2 weeks as we collect your ideas.

Thanks and I look forward to hearing (reading) from you!

Thanks again,
CC

PM function: the forum does not allow sending private messages. When I click the PM button, I get redirected to my control panel.

Why is the forum Addiction - Drug / Alcohol / Gambling / Smoking not included in the Psychiatry forum? Addiction counselling is part of Pychiatry, right?

The option IM the person is not working. Can we turn that on so that we can privately tell them our views on their post?

Please put in some bright colors, it’s like there is no life on the site.

Can we add a "YAY!" and "BOO" function? Something similar to Facebook or Yahoo Answers. It's more interactive and we know the posters who really give valuable inputs (also a way of thanking the posters for the input).

Thanks everyone for your response. We are working on the functionality iof the Private messages, and Emoticons.

One of the goals of the redesign is to add some color/life to the website as well as improved usability. This includes

1.Restructuring the Forum Categories
2. Post voting
3. Top Contributors

I really want everyone to get as much out of this website/community as possible.

We are getting closer to the new design everyday, but do not have a launch day yet. As soon as we are ready I will give everyone a heads up. It will be awesome.

Yoga holds that a person’s health condition depends on himself. It lays emphasis on physical, mental and emotional balance and development of a sense of harmony with all of life. There’s nothing mystical about it.Nor is it external. Rather it is an inner faculty. Yoga endeavors to re-establish inner balance through a variety of ways, ranging from the gross to the subtle. Which is why it is considered a holistic art.Rather than prescribe treatments, yoga therapy encourages awareness. Through age-old yogic techniques, we get to know ourselves better. From that knowledge, comes the ability to more easily accept and adapt to change, resulting in enhanced well-being in body, mind, heart and spirit. Hence its applicability to almost all chronic conditions.
What approach does yoga therapy take?
Contrary to modern medical science that tries to identify the pathogenic factor (be it a toxic substance, a micro-organism, or metabolic disorder) then eliminate it, Yoga takes a totally different point of view. It holds that if a person is sick there must be a deeper reason behind it – that illness doesn’t arise by chance. It is the result of an imbalance, a disruption in the body-mind complex that creates the condition. Here the symptoms, the pathogenic factors, are not the issue. Yoga believes that the root cause lies somewhere else.
