i had been eating 2-3 protein bars a day because im busy and on the go. I weight train 3 days a week so it helps me to get enough protein since I dont eat a lot of meat (dont like a lot of meat and the ones i do like im too pressed for time to cook). i read that one of the bars ive been eating has 10g or so of sugar alcohols and the others have like 4g. the first few weeks of eating them i had no problems but now i do. i feel bloated all the time and despite my strict routine of exercise and diet, i feel that certain body parts are getting bigger (ie stomach) while everything else is shrinking. ive went from 188lbs to 123lbs and yet my stomach is still the same size, big. and be comparing pics from a year ago it seems like it actually got bigger! im going to go see a doctor to make sure those protein bars havent messed up my stomach. i used to eat slimfast bars but they messed with me too. can eating the wrong foods actually cause you to gain a bigger midsection or at least keep you for making any significant decreases in it? are sugar alcohols bad for the body? or am i being paranoid and my stomach will be the last place i see the fat come off?

I guess that you are also doing abs exercises. I don’t think protein bars are the cause of your stomach to bulge. Be sure to check it to your doctor, maybe you have some slight problem.

Does this stuff really work? I was in the impression that it’s only made up of synthetic protein.

It’s not. It’s made from real and natural protein which is good for muscle build up and strength training.

Those protein bars are really made from real protein. Be aware that too much protein can damage some internal organs.

I also heard that information. It really helps filter and flush out toxins from the kidneys but it eats up a lot of calcium of the bone.

Muesli bar is a good replacement meal bar. It gives the necessary protein, fiber and carbohydrates. Good for athletes and people who is always on the go.
