It's not pnuemonia. It's pulmonary edema, which is commonly a cause of congestive heart failure.

Here are some symptoms if you have pulmonary edema: shortness of breath, coughing of blood and excessive sweating.

The necessary treatment for the disease is to rush the person immediately to a hospital. Lungs filled with water might cause pneumonia or emphysema if not prevented.

We can prevent it by stopping the vices that you are hooked on to like smoking and drinking.

Heart failure causes water in the lungs. When the heart stops blood circulation, it will pump water out and force it to go to the lungs, putting the patient in a bad condition.

This is what happens when the heart stops working. Instead of pumping blood, it sucks water and pours it to the lungs.

This is also my thoughts about water in the lungs. When the heart stops functioning, it will secrete liquid and blood inside the lungs.

It’s not pneumonia that causes water in the lungs. There are other factors such as surgery, infection in the lungs and high pulmonary pressure that causes water going to the lungs. Sometimes is not water that’s going to the lungs but fluids cause by the examples that I had given.
