What are the signs of a child having autism? How early do they manifest? My nephew who is 1 and a half years old prefers to sit and play by himself instead of playing with other kids? Is this one of the symptoms?

I think you need to take the kid to an occupational therapist. They also handle this type of syndrome and give them the therapy exercises they need.

We also have to consider taking an extra effort if we have children who have autism. They need full attention and understanding about their condition.

An occupational therapist really has more diverse knowledge reading children behavior.
