Here are some helpful alternative ways to solve dark underarms and keep them from coming back.
Apply a paste of 1 tbsp. curd, 1 tsp. gram flour, pinch of turmeric and 1 tsp. milk on your underarms. Rinse well with cold water and dry it thoroughly. After that, apply paste of rose water and sandalwood powder on your underarms.

Well you can rub lemons to your armpits after you shower. It is so clean and also replaces deodorant usage, This is a home remedy for dark underams but ites better to check a dermatologist for proper treatment.

Yes the acid in citrus fruits does help whiten and exfoliate the dark skin on the underarm. Use it everyday and you'll see results even with just a few days.

Myths say that shaving the underarm makes it darker. This is not true. Shaving will not darken your underarm skin. We can apply whitening lotion to prevent black underarm.

You can use lemons on your underarm to prevent it from darkening. Rub them gently after you take your shower every day and it also serves as deodorant.

Princess, I never thought that we can use lemons to get rid of dark underarms. I’m now thinking of going to a dermatologist to have a laser treatment. I will try to use them before going to the doctor.

On using lemons: you might be wrong!

Hypothesis: Lemons for lighter underarms. My friend read the same idea somewhere (maybe in another internet forum).

Result: darker, itchy, underarms (like they've been cooked). bouncy smile

Treatment: She went to the dermatologist.

I tried using lemons but the result is zero. It only gives me a tingling effect but it never whitens my underarms.

I never tried doing that. I saw this topic on another forum and it got my attention since lemons are very cheap compare on going to a dermatologist.

I use St. Ives apricot scrub. It helps remove those dead skin cell that causes dark spots on the underarm and also acts as a deodorant.
