Please please please do not look at the scale to determine whether or not you are happy with yourself. Scales are the devil, not fooseball. Bodies change and what you think will look good 25 lbs smaller might actually look better as you are and putting on those 25 lbs to get back to where you are wont be easy either if you do it properly. Unless you are trying to get to a certain weight for a meet or a competition then dont look at the scale. Look in a mirror and when you smile at your reflection and feel good in your clothes and out of them then that is the weight you should be.

That sounds crrrazy fatgirl52.

Unless your eating a ton load of food each day ,I can't see why you wouldn't be losing weight.

Just eat less calories daily. What do you do for these alleged 2-3 hours? Checkout out guys??? haha

Welcome to the forum.

I apologize that you haven't seemed to get the results you set out for in your quest for the "perfect" physique. I must however second the comments of the other members here. It isn't all about calories being burned...there are hormonal fluctuations at play here (in fact, activity is a "STRESSFUL" plea by the body and as a result will push out a LOT of cortisol in response to that plea). In order to make body composition changes, you may consider controlling cortisol in any way, shape imaginable and cut down on the stress you are putting your body under if you are at a consistent heightened activity for all those hours (I won't play as much of a synic as drew above, HA!).

I believe you should probably get the help you are looking for in this forum. Have you looked into the body composition portion of this forum below the introductory section?

Your so-called gym routine seems rather suspicious. No one working out that amount of hours can possibly be fat. You must eat an entire horse when you get home....lol

Anways, I really hope you lose the weight you so desire to lose. Just keep on learning more about what works and you'll be fine.

If you do actually spend that long in a gym, which is insanely long!!And you are eating the right amount of HEALTHY food for your body height and BMI index. and you are not seeing any results there may be something wrong with your thryoid. Thats option number one, talk to your doctor about that, or number two is, IN YOUR HEAD. I don;t know anything about you, but I do know that I have seen the word fat twice in this topic used by you. Once in the title a clear I AM FAT and twice in your name. If you continue to see your self as fat, your body will keep you fat, get rid of the negative attitude and focus on your special points, spend time each day visualizing how fit and beautiful you are, and eventually your mind and your body will be get you there.

Hi Sweetie,

One thing I learned is that 2 hours in the gym is too too TOO TOO much... I was doing the same as you and was only losing inches not pounds and I started to go to a personal trainer... He put me on a HIGH ENERGY VERY INTENSE workout that boxers use to get in shape (30 minutes) I was more tired in his 30 minutes then my 2 hours and I started to think what is wrong with me.... But one thing I realized was that I lost weight... Finally the scale was changing lower and lower... He told me you have to fool the body into losing weight... and he was right.... so cut ur workouts in half and then in half again and make them more intense and you will see the scale change..... (even tho it doesnt matter)

Cogratulations, that's something! Take it slow... enjoy it ! Don't do this for others but for yourself. Continue working out, it's definitely a healthy habit, regardless of what others say about you. Believe me it works! Don't forget to have fun! banana

You would require a combination of healthy diet and regular exercise in order to lose weight. Like Latanya says - A persoanl Trainer might be what you need. Also I find it difficult to believe that you can see the change but cant weigh it; in that case you may need a new weighing scale.

I don't know your circumstances but I lost alot of weight in the past by
walking 2 to 3 miles a day. I did it with some neighbor ladies so it was
more fun. Eventually, I lost over 40 lbs in 4 months. We encouraged
each other to keep it up. All of us were successful in losing lbs And inches.
Plus I had more energy than I knew what to do with every day.
We walked every morning meeting at a nearby church's track.
Is there anyone else you might ask to wqlk with you?

I do wish you good luck in your goal!
