hearing loss

my mom and i have had many many arguments that stem from her poor hearing. she sometimes thinks i dont answer her questions and sometimes i think she ignores me. she gets mad at me when she cant hear what i said even when ive already increased the volume of my voice. help! i dont want us to fight and stress over this.

what can i do to help her?

Well its better to ask her to go to a ent doctor have her examined if she has a problem hearing. These will help you both and doctors will give you medical advice on it.

I think it is hereditary but not all people who have parents with difficulty hearing will experience the same.

Yes, it could be hereditary. You have to find out how does your closest relative got his/her hearing loss, if it's congenital defect, then it can be hereditary, but if its traumatic, then you cannot be affected.

Hearing loss also cause by excessive noise level, if your ear is expossed of terribly loud noise it could damge and may cause hearing loss.

There are 2 treatments I know for hearing loss. These are getting a hearing aid and perform a surgery for hearing loss.

Yes thank you for that question.I am came here to discuss the same thing.My problem also same.When aging this type of problem is common and you can show her to some ear specialist.

Don't worry i think some ear instrument is also available clear hears.

You should ask your mom is there any disturbance inside ears ? Because it may be ear tinnitus .So if it is ear tinnitus reason it will cured.
