What's the best age to start kids in school? Is 3 too young?

Most kids nowadays start at 3, and by the time they're in middle school, they're already tired of going to school. I started school when I was 6 already, yet I turned out okay

If you want your kids to start learning early on, it would be best to start teaching them yourself, rather than enroll them in an institution. Kids still need to play, and there are lots of methods out there to teach while playing

Perhaps you can start with day care centers first before going into primary school. This is like an informal school where your child can learn at an early age. I started formal schooling when I was almost 5 years old and everything's been fine with me. smile

Look and examine your child. Ifthey can already understand some basic letters numbers and orders you are giving them and they might be ready for school. Child can develop its EQ by as early as 2 yrs old. Start them first on a day care center before enrolling to a school.

You can start your child to start school at the age of 5yo. Children at this age already have development on their psychomotor and they are already eager to learn new things. I started to go to school at 5 yo.

I enrolled my kids as early as 3 yrs old. I want them to be exposed to a classroom and also to other kids their age.

I was told that 4 years old is a good age to start on school. I don’t think that a kid would have a good attention to class at the age of 3.

That’s also what I’ve been told by his teacher when I enrolled him. I told her that I only want to get my kids familiar with school, books and teacher.

IMO I would like to enroll my kid on school at the age of 5. On this age they are already ready emotionally and psychologically on school. Their attention is already built up and they could consume the info from the teachers.

That’s good marian but we have different opinions. I like my children to be exposed to classroom and other students on an early age.

My kid started to go to school at the age of 5. He had a culture shock in first few weeks then he got pretty well with his teacher and classmate.
