I blush pretty easily and it can be pretty embarrassing at times. Is there anything I can do to lessen or stop it?

isit your doctor and through a medical checkup can rule out other conditions that might be causing your blushing problem.

Limit your alcohol as it can have a natural blushing effect on many people.

Avoid eating spicy foods. Spicy foods are another natural blushing effect flow to your face.

Maintain a stable temperature. Dress warm in the winter, and stay cool in the summer.

Keep your temper to a limit. Emotional highs and lows have an effect on your complexion!

And most importantly, RELAX!

I used to be really shy and also blushed easily whenever someone pays attention to me, even if the situation is not embarrassing. What I did was to try and not exactly change my personality, but try to be more outgoing. And I didn't want to be so conscious of my blushing, so eventually it just went away when I wasn't that shy anymore

Blushing tends to get worse at first as people start to get embarrassed about their embarrassment, creating a sort of vicious circle. The more tense you get as you start to blush, the more the blood is forced to the face. One trick is, when you feel it coming on, to deliberately drop your shoulders, relax your body, and push your stomach out. This takes a bit of doing at first, so you might want to practice
