Should we change what we eat as the weather gets colder? What are some recommended food for the winter season?

Try to avoid citrusy food during cold weather because they lower your body temperature. Stick to apples or dried fruits.

You can lightly steam some vegetables and put them on top of your salad. Hypothyroids can steam all the cruciferous vegetables first, then put them on the salad and eat them this way with no problems

I love pumpkin or asparagus soup. They make me feel warm and comfy in the cold weather too.

It’s best to eat a warm beef or chicken soup together with orange juice.

Rice porridge is also good if a person have colds or flu. In general, all soups are best for people with colds and flu. This will help them recuperate and warm their body.

Yes, they are also good for people who have cold and flu. It helps them regain their sense of smell because of the hot water they are sipping.

When it’s the season of fall and winter, I really want to eat toast bread and hot chocolate. This really warms me in this cold time of the year.
