Is it an exercise? A form of ceremony? I heard some girls talking about it and how it has helped them but I was too shy to actually ask them what it was

It's a system of exercises that is "a continuous sequence of movement". It hasn't been proven or recognized to be an authentic Tibetan practice. But it does have its benefits according to testimonials (again, unproven) like improved eyesight, memory, potency, hair growth, restoring full color to completely gray hair and anti-aging. The benefits most likely to be achieved are increased energy, stress reduction and an enhanced sense of calm, clarity of thought, increased strength & flexibility and an overall improvement in health and well-being
