What a find! I feel like a kid in a candy store on this website! Kudos to Caroline and everyone else who commit their time and knowledge to this site.
I'm a 30 yr. old single mom (a little boy named Abiah... he's just toooooo cute). He arrived Dec. 2007 (quite a surprise at 29, by which time I had accepted I wouldn't have kids). Abiah's dad (my "significant other") travels ALL THE TIME with his job, and I'm a stay-at-home mommy (very blessed and grateful for that) in a little Missouri town (please, no mistaking, despite my state of residence, I AM INDEED a Cubs Fan).
I'm looking forward to perusing the bajillion threads out here, and I'm REALLY looking forward to feedback on some of my health issues and questions (I am a little concerned that I'll sound like a hypochondriac... so, tell me if you read any of my postings and think, "geez, lady, want some cheese with your whine?").
I do have a couple questions...
1. What's a "sticky"? Is this a message that's been posted in the forums but is not intended for replies?
2. There are a few forum categories that do not indicate a moderator... Specifically, I'm thinking about the Rheumatology threads. I have urticarial vasculitis. I want to get some thoughts on my condition... If I post them under Rheumatology, will Dr. Houser or some other knowledgeable moderator read it or will it be a toss of the coin if anyone replies? Should I just post under "General" for Dr. Houser...?
3. Okay... one more question... I requested the free copy of the Toxic Supplements report, but it never came to my email. I don't see a "contact us" or "help" link... anyone else have this problem? Anyone who DID receive this report that would be willing to forward to my email?
Glad to be a part of this community... I think we should have a Cure-Your-Body Convention so we can all get together and party (and by "party" I mean compare supplement stories).
