CureYourBody.com is excited to announce the launch of
its new forums. The next several months will be critical to setting up the
forums the way you want them to be. So
if you feel we should add more categories or sub forums, please let us know.
We'll add sub forums on our own as well, if we feel a
large number of posts are being made on a specific topic. For example, "Colon Cleansing" was added as a sub forum to the Gastroenterology forum since there seems
to be a lot of posts for that specific subject.
What should be the normal heart rate during exercise? I'm scared that I might go over the limit so I just take it slow, but then again i might be under exerting myself:omg:
Stop the activity if you develop a rapid or irregular heartbeat or have heart palpitations. Check your pulse after you have rested for 15 minutes. If it's still above 120-150 beats per minute, call the doctor for further instructions.
I run regularly, but sometimes my heart rate goes up to 190 and above. I am 30 years old, relatively healthy. Is this normal or should I cut back on running?
It is imperative for you to expand on the physical findings. While wide fluctuations in heart rate can certainly be expected, it is likely best to think about this in context. If you see isolated elevated heart rate with various activity, it may be nothing. How is your blood pressure?
I just read in the gym that the maximum heart rate during exercise is 220 minus your age. So if you're 20, your maximum heart rate is 200. I'm not sure if this is reliable though. But then, your heart rate should normalize in 10-15 minutes after exertion. The normal heart rate is 60 to 100 beats per minute.
Too find out your lower and higher heart rate so subtract your age from 220 then multiply it to 80% thats your highest heart rate you can get then to find out the lowest heart rate you have to again subtract your age to 220 multiply it by 60% then thaths the lowest rate you can get. So do not exceed your highest heart rate and also do not get lower than the lowest herat rate you can get.
If you are having a high blood rate there are drugs now that you can tkae which are tiazec and cardizem. It can slow down your heart rate w/o any side effects.

Yes, this is an irregularity of the heart. You better have a normal beat rate because if the heart is beating faster and you are not doing anything then it could lead to serious condition like heart attack.
Antiarrhythmic is kind of medicine used for normalizing the heart rate if it’s too fast. Rhytmol and Sotalol are examples of this medicine.
There are a list of side effects for both Rythmol & Sotalol. I would strongly consider reading up on both meds. One of the side effects of Sotalol is irregular heartbeat. So, how does this cure something that it creates?
