Atrial flutter is an abnormality in the beating of the heart. Such abnormalities, whether in rhythm of heartbeat or speed of heartbeat, are known as arrhythmias.

Atrial flutter can come and go; it is then known as paroxysmal atrial flutter. An episode of atrial flutter usually lasts hours or days. Less often, atrial flutter is more or less permanent and is known as persistent atrial flutter.

With proper treatment, atrial flutter is rarely life threatening. Complications of atrial flutter can be devastating, but they usually can be prevented with treatment.

This will help you out but you better see a cardiologist We can say taht heart flutter is like atrial flutter.trial flutter is a rapid heart rhythm in which electrical signals in the atria are abnormally fast. The symptoms of atrial flutter are include weakness – especially with exercise – rapid or pounding heartbeat (palpitations), dizziness, or shortness of breath.

Why play with the heart? See a physician to be on the safe side. It may not be anything but at least you will know.

Too much caffeine and stress gets our heart to flutter. Sometimes when we worry too much, our heart also flutters. When these are recurrently happening I suggest ask a doctor for immediate treatment.

Yes, it can be. Heart flutter or commonly called flip flop, is a symptom of coronary heart disease. If your doctor suspects that you have heart fluttering, chances are that you may have a serious heart condition.

Maintenance meds for hypertension are typically for hypertension only. Try to consult a doctor because heart flutter depends on the beating of the heart.

No, it’s not the medicine for Atrial flutter. One cause of this problem is incorrect beat of the heat by the electrical impulses. The most effective treatment is putting a pacemaker to correct the problem.
