This one is true and called mobile phone dermatitis. It can be caused by repeated contact with the metallic parts of the phone. Anyone know how to cure it, though?

For us drivers be courteous and careful about ths texting while driving. Im sure the receipient of your message would understand if you are driving. Just answer the text msg after you park your car or stop on the side of the road.

I agree texting while driving should be banned as well as conversing via cell phone while driving. Though I am guilty of the latter, I have seen too many accidents caused by lack of attention to the traffic due to texting or conversing via cell phone. I have since invested in a headset and I have never tried to text while driving.

Why should mobile phones be turned off while riding an airplane?

It could mess up the avionics of the airplane. That’s why pilots advise their passenger not to use their cellular phones and other electronic devices during their flight.
