Are spider veins hereditary? If not, what causes them? And how can I hide them?

There are number of factors predispose a person to spider veins and one of it is hereditary.Support Stockings is the most conservative approach, simply wear properly-fitting support hose, especially when the veins cause painful or uncomfortable symptoms. These stockings can generally be purchased at any surgical supply store and at some pharmacies. They come in below-the-knee, above-the-knee, and pantyhose styles.

Wear pants and flat shoes. If you are ready for a lifestyle change, consider good skin hygiene, weight loss if needed, and walking, it can help treat spider veins. Not all patients need treatment for their spider veins. Many people have no pain or other symptoms. For these individuals, no treatment is necessary, unless they want the veins removed for cosmetic reasons.

Yes, Varicose veins affect both men and women. You can get varicose veins at any age (even as a teenager), but they are more likely as you get older. They tend to run in families.

Anyone whose work involves standing up for long hours can develop varicose veins, regardless of the gender. One good tip is to sit down every few minutes if you're standing for long periods of time so as to avoid the development of varicose veins.

High heels are not fashionable for your veins. If you wear a heel that is more than 1.5 inches high every day, your calf muscle will not be effectively pumping blood out of the leg. You can try this at home. Feel how the calf contracts when you walk in lower heels and then switch to high heels. The foot simply moves forward in high heels, and you won't feel your calf contracting as you walk.

To prevent to have varicose veins try to elevate your legs much often because you get varicose veins everytime you stand up. To remove these it is to have a cosmetic surgery.

What about " spider veins ", can they be removed with surgery or any natural way?

Spider veins are a pre-cursor to the more severe varicose veins. To understand this better, consider what the veins do as far as their job. They carry waste back to the eliminatory organs, right? Over the years, the veins are worked and over-worked during this course of doing their job. So, they begin to lose tone in the walls as well as begin a clogging of the vein by the very waste they're intended to deal with.

But if you look a little closer, you'll see that there are other systems in the body that have slowed in doing their job of waste elimination. You can follow the trail back to the sluggish liver. But often, times, it doesn't stop there. By then, you'll have indications that the endocrine has also been affected. I've discovered over the years that all the systems of the body must be given attention by prioritizing which systems need the most attention. Only then can there be a successful program for better health.

OK. I've opened a can of worms. I'm a professional herbalist and it's my job to consult with the client to determine which herbs I will custom blend for their specific needs. So, please don't ask me to recommend an herb. It's more involved than just printing information out over the net for people to play with by themselves.

I guess I wasn't too helpful. Sorry.

It‘s very hard to remove spider veins by applying dermatological cream. The best way to remove it is by laser treatment. The laser heats the veins and is not that painful.

The downside: it is really expensive.
