Are the low carb high protein bars sold in health stores actually effective? Has anyone here tried taking them and did they help in losing weight?

These low carb high protein weight loss remain unproven, and most experts are concerned that high-protein, low carb diets can cause a host of problems, particularly for the large segment of the population that is at risk for heart disease. What's more, the plan doesn't permit a high intake of fruits and vegetables, recommended by most nutrition experts because of the numerous documented health benefits from these foods.

The experts say to achieve permanent weight loss you must change your lifestyle. This means following a lower calorie diet that includes grains, legumes, fruits and vegetables combined with participating in regular physical activity.

Don't trust the slogans or the ad campaign. Look closely at the labels and try and research if these actually can help you in whatever regimen you are doing

In dieting its not lowering down your carb diet is the solution. you need to execise as well to complement the diet. Try these exercises like walking, swimming, and riding a bike.

You must also eat the low carb bars in moderation because some of the nutrients there are artificial. It might cause liver and kidney problems in the long run. You can try natural by eating tuna or boil some eggs and eat the white part for protein.

I have read a thread here regarding too much protein. It’s a best supplement for the kidneys as it help flushes out toxins from it.
