But make it sure more than 8 glasses a day. Because water is one of the important liquid in our body aside from blood. Also it will avoid dehydration.

If you have a normal heart, normal kidneys, and normal thirst mechanism, it's not likely you will get dehydrated if there is a sufficient supply of fluids available and drink when thirsty.

If you think you need to be drinking more, here are some tips to increase your fluid intake and reap the benefits of water:

1. Have a beverage with every snack and meal.
2. Choose beverages you enjoy; you're likely to drink more liquids if you like the way they taste.
3. Eat more fruits and vegetables. Their high water content will add to your hydration. About 20% of our fluid intake comes from foods.
4. Keep a bottle of water with you in your car, at your desk, or in your bag.
5. Choose beverages that meet your individual needs. If you're watching calories, go for non-caloric beverages or water.

One essential part of dieting is drinking water. Water keeps iour body hydrated and also keeps us sweating. Since sweating also helps us loose some calories in our bodies.

Our body has 70% water. As we go on to our daily lives we loose water becasue we are also sweating. So plain water re hydrates our body and flushes it out and fee our brain. The saying drink 8 glasses a day is really true perhaps if you are eating try to drink water instead of sodas juices and other drinks non water. Its preferable to drink after 30 minutes everytime you eat.

Water ia already good as it own. We need more elctrolytes to be hydrated and water cannot give that amount of elecrtolytes in our body. Thats why there are electrolytes enriched water like gatorade that is being sold in the market.

If you are in a warm country you should definitely drink more because youll get easily dehydrated. But 8 glasses is not a strict number so long as you know you're drinking enough.
