Inflammation is a process by which the body's white blood cells and chemicals protect our bodies from infection by foreign substances, such as bacteria and viruses. Inflammation can affect organs as part of an autoimmune disorder. The type of symptoms depend on which organs are affected.

Inflammation is how the body normally responds to a infection. What we see is redness, swelling, warmth and pain. Never ignore inflammation because it is an early warning that something is not right. Ignoring it is only going to make things get worse.

If the gum is very inflamed and swollen, you may need to see your dentist to surgically remove some of the excess gum tissue.

However, you don't have to wait until it becomes severe. You can reduce the gum inflammation easily. Rinse your mouth with a 0.1 percent solution of folic acid or warm salt water. Remove food residues between teeth with a wedge stimulator.

If you have minor gum infections, treat it with anti-bacterial mouthwash or anti-bacterial anaesthetic spray.

Regular tooth brushes can remove plaque. It is the most effective way to prevent cavity. Dental flossing can prevent gum inflammation. Clean between your teeth with the dental floss. It can remove plaque by scrubbing it off the surface of your teeth.

Even though gum inflammation is common, you should not ignore it. You may not develop periodontitis, a severe gum disease. However, the inflammation breaks down gum tissue. The pockets gradually become deeper, allowing more bacteria to accumulate. Plaque begins to form on the teeth and gums. Eventually, a simple gum inflammation can turn into a serious gum disease. You can avoid losing your teeth. Practice daily brushing, flossing, and rinsing with mouthwash. Also visit your dentist regularly for checkups.

I only get infallmation in my gums once my teeth aches. Ny dentist always gives me antibiotics for 7 days and the 3rd or 4th day she will remove my teeth and i still be taking antibiotics until on the 7th day.

Inflammation cannot be cured thru natural remedies. You must also needd to consult your doctor about it to ask for medications.

Doctors see that inflammation is cause by breaking down of the immune system. To prevent inflammation we must strengthen the immune system by eating healthy food and exercise.

Yes, it can cause inflammation. Lack of vitamin C can cause inflammation on the gums. As additional info, it can prevent fast wound healing, loose teeth and joint pain.

Sorry, I cannot say anything about your post. When I had an inflammation, my doctor prescribed me antibiotics. I think that could only be the solution for this.

When I had inflammation my doctor prescribed Naproxen, which I have come to learn is the same as the OTC brand Aleve. I questioned it and was told that yes, Aleve works very well for inflammation but due to my circumstances Naproxen was prescribed as a higher dosage. Both work well as pain relievers also.

Another OTC drug is Motrin. Again, it depends on the severity and you really should consult your physician.

I had inflammation before and my doctor prescribed antibiotics for its treatment. I guess there’s no other meds to cure inflammation rather than antibiotics.

I guess it depends on the type of inflammation you are experiencing. There are some OTC drugs that work just as well.
