I don't know if this is common in men or if it is just me, but I cannot control my anger. Is there anyway I can try and control it? Do I need counselling?

You can calm down inside. This means not just controlling your outward behavior, but also controlling your internal responses, taking steps to lower your heart rate, calm yourself down, and let the feelings subside.

If you feel that your anger is really out of control, if it is having an impact on your relationships and on important parts of your life, you might consider counseling to learn how to handle it better. A psychologist or other licensed mental health professional can work with you in developing a range of techniques for changing your thinking and your behavior.

Good luck godlycreme. I've been to anger management workshops before and I'm now able to control my anger better than I did about five years ago.

Godleycreme:

I've found that anger and frustrations rise from within due to congestion of the liver/gallbladder. In fact, one of the questions I ask during the initial consultations is "On a scale of 1 - 10, how would you rate your anger and frustration?" Often times, this is accompanied by neck/shoulder tension. Do you have that as well.

The Chinese learned and wrote about the connection between liver/gallbladder congestion and anger. And when I consult with people I also ask if they're a worrier. If so, then that could be a strong indication of the need to feed the heart with a heart, herbal tonic. It applies to other organs as well.

After starting the customized, home-made herbal tonics program, I usually work in the nervine/relaxant tonic to eliminate the constraint so prevalent in western society. People are surprised at how easy-going they become under the most stressful situations. Improvement occurs within 1-3 days. After 1-2 weeks of taking, they get off the tonic for a lasting relief.

But the anger issues are just part of the overall health condition of the individual. It's usually preceded by things such as bowel/digestion problems, back aches, etc.

I'm not trying to hustle you for work, because I have enough work. I just like to share what I learned in my many years of herbology.

Yes when you are frustrated it tends us men to release our anger. We get frustrated if we are also stress from work home and other factors on it. We release these feelings thru our anger afterwards its gone. Its better to take anger management workshop so that we will not be so destructive once we release our anger.
