Did you mean genital hygiene ?

In case you did mean health, I think the answer is regular genital health checks.

Before you start a sexual relationship, talk with your partner about STDs. Find out whether he or she is at risk for them. Remember that a person can be infected without knowing it. Don't have more than one sexual relationship at a time. Having several sex partners increases your risk for disease.Use condoms. Condom use lowers the risk of spreading or becoming infected with an STD. A new vaccine called Gardasil protects against four types of HPV, which together cause most cases of cervical cancer and genital warts. You get three shots over 6 months. The vaccine is recommended for girls 11 to 12 years old. It is also recommended for females 13 to 26 years old who did not get it when they were younger.

For the best soap that you can use try Dove soap. It has moisturizes that will not irritate your skin. You can also put some baby oil to lessen the friction or just plain body lotion.

Yes, that’s right john. We have to wash our genitals everyday to prevent diseases like UTI and remove the smell on it.

Being clean all the time is killing the germs on our body and prevents sickness in the future.

Thanks John for the comment. I have bought several soaps for washing my genitals and haven’t found any hypo-allergenic soap.

Genital herpes does not cause long term or permanent damage such as sterilization of the infected person. However, unlike most other forms of STD's, genital herpes is a life long condition. Once a person becomes infected with the HSV virus, the virus can lay dormant in the body. In cycles, the virus may reactivate and cause an episode or outbreak of symptoms.

How to Maintain Vaginal Health

* Do lead a healthy lifestyle. Eat right and get adequate sleep.
* Do avoid chemical irritants in perfumes, detergents and lotions. Most women will experience some form of vaginitis - inflammation marked by unusual discharge or irritation of the vulva or vagina. This uncomfortable condition can be caused by something as simple as an allergic reaction to or irritation from chemicals in feminine hygiene products, laundry detergents or spermicide.
* Do practice safe sex. While vaginitis is not technically a sexually transmitted disease, risk of getting it increases with multiple partners - another good reason to practice safe sex
* Do remove wet clothing as soon as possible and avoid hot tubs and swimming pools of questionable cleanliness.
* Don't smoke or abuse alcohol
* Don't overclean. Use gentle soaps and water to cleanse external areas only
* Don't douche or use feminine hygiene products
* Don't wear thongs or tight pants. Favor cotton underwear
* Don't wear panty liners every day
