Hi Dave, I have heard of it, though I haven't tried it. Its about eating natural food - fruits, vegetables and nuts - preferably organic one day of the week. I think you can eat what you want for the rest of the week. You also have to exercise one hour the day of your diet. The diet is by a Colorado Springs pastor Ted Haggard. He used this name because of his trips to Jerusalem where he decided to lose weight. I think he says you can lose one pound a week on this diet.

You kiddin me? Why would anyone buy a diet from someone called Haggard? Very weird, if you ask me. If you diet only one day of the week, wouldn't you just put it all back on, eating whatever you want on the other days.

The Jerusalem Diet is a simple, do-able program for gradual weight loss. It would work well for those who find it difficult to remain focused on long-term weight loss goals, or for those who are discouraged by how far they are from their ideal weight. Focusing on "one pound a week" is far easier, psychologically, than focusing on "I need to lose 50 pounds." While the nutrition may be questionable, with the "eat what you want" normal days, Haggard insists that the small changes in lifestyle will eventually add up to wiser eating choices overall.

There are two kinds of jerusalem diet. The normal days where you can eat and drink whatever you like and you are not required to exercise. The other one is the Fat days where you only eat fruits and vegetables, drink only water and exercise for one hour.

The Jerusalem Diet: Once a week, you can only eat fruits, vegetables, seeds and nuts. You are supposed to lose 1lb per week.
It's a fad, and it's a fake diet, I believe.

If you ended up buying the book for Jerusalem Diet, too bad – it’s a scam! The book, in fact doesn’t make sense. A lot of people read through the stuff and eventually found out that it’s nothing but nonsense.

It is another form of diet plan and it really doesnt work maybe a little percent will do. To avoid geting fat eat the right foods avoid fatty foods and eat more fiber and hi on protein and exercise everyday.
