So you have an exercise machine or any equipment that helps in fitness, its good for you if you know the real benefits of using those. There are many benefits of using exercise equipments, 5 of which i am listing out below -

1. Lowers the blood pressure in high BP patients.
2. Burns out and decreases the body fat that has accumulated in obese people.
3. Improves the functioning of heart and thus helps in increasing its ability to pump more blood.
4. Improves aerobic work capacity in people who suffer often from breathlessness.
5. Decreases stress reactions and anxiety.

"Best" (as implied by thread title) may more accurately be depicted by individual goals.

They are certainly great goals to have to remain healthy, however.

I find that having exercise equipment at home is the most convenient way to exercise and increase your fitness. Not only that, you don't have to spend money and aggravation on gas and commute to and from the gym!

The only real benefits of having exercise equipments is that it's easier and more reachable to start doing something. If you think about the "chore" of driving to the gym each day after a long stressful day at work, then it's easy to not do it.

I have a total gym at home and I don' t know how I'd live without it. The convenience-factor is priceless.

while having exercise equipment at home eliminates the "excuse" factor for working out, I would have to have the following to even consider lifting at home....Pull-Up Bar, Squat Rack with Olympic Bar and Weights, Bench

I look forward to my drive to the gym (which is 7 miles the opposite direction from my office to where I live....so my total commute back home from the gym is 28 miles), its the time I get mentally prepared for my lifts that day, whether its going through all my lifts in my head or putting on the right tunes to get the blood flowing.....
