Vitamin K has an important role in blood clotting and bone health and is found in dark green vegetables like spinach and brocoli, and I think in Liver. So I think if you have a deficiency, you have a tendency to bleed excessively.

Vitamin K1 has clotting properties and is found in green leafy vegetables and canola and soybean oil.

Vitamin K2 helps in reducing bone loss. Fermented soybeans and milk products carry K2.

Vitamin K has been shown to be of use in women menopausing, who tend to lose calcium from bone and have it deposited in arteries.

Vitamin K is known as the clotting vitamin, because without it blood would not clot. Vitamin K is a fat-soluble vitamin that plays an important role in blood clotting.

Vitamin K is a fat-soluble vitamin. There are two naturally occurring forms of vitamin K. Plants synthesize phylloquinone, which is also known as vitamin K1. Bacteria synthesize a range of vitamin K forms using repeating 5-carbon units in the side chain of the molecule.

Phylloquinone (vitamin K1) is the major dietary form of vitamin K. Green leafy vegetables and some vegetable oils (soybean, cottonseed, canola, and olive) are major contributors of dietary vitamin K.

Vitamin K is not good for memory loss. The supplement that you can try to gain or boost your memory is lecithin.

Vitamin K deficiency will result into blood clotting. To avoid blood clotting, vitamin K is given orally to improve the body’s immune system.

There is no similarity with vitamin K and potassium. Vitamin K is a supplement to prevent blood clotting while potassium is a kind of chemical that replaces bacteria in the body.
