Modern medicine has very little to offer to relieve the menopausal syndrome (the signs & symptoms occurring at the time of of menopause). But Homeopathy can really work wonderfully. I have actually treated women with homeopathy and relieved them of their symptoms, whereas modern medicine could only either give hormone-treatment or suggest surgery). These women have been relieve from their symptoms of irregular menstruation and other associated symptoms. At least, it has stopped these good souls from going under the surgeon's knife.

Homeopathy needs careful history-taking, and all the signs and symptoms, even the mind's symptoms need to be taken for consideration. But, once the complete "picture" of the symptoms is constructed, then finding a corresponding medicine and the potency of the medicine is easier. The effect then is very fast and the relief last longer. If again the symptoms are seen after some time, the same medicine or a similar medicine (corresponding to the signs and symptoms at that particular time) will again give real relief.

Homeopathy has also worked very positively in many cases which were beyond the limits of modern medicine. Here, I am not degrading he modern system, I am just stating the effects of Homeopathy. There is one important factor that can make the difference to really see the effects of Homeopathy, that is the case-taking by a person having a deep study of Homeopathy. (It's same like being operated by a new-surgeon, or by an experienced surgeon who has mastered the science of surgery).

Actually though i believe in this benefits of homeopathy medicines, it is very difficult to find a physician, who can provide me with an adequate medicine. I cannot take it from anyone, as I have the fear of side-effects from them even though they might have none.

My best friend's mom was on menopausal stage last year. Her mom said it was a difficult experience and she said that what helped her condition is the supplements she is taking. She was taking supplements with Omega 3.

I couldn`t see anything else in here directly related to homeopathic doctors and what to look for.

Homopathy is a 200 year old medical practice, basically it is the use of nature to cure illnesses based on the Law of Similarities (like cures like)
For example when you are chopping onions they make your eyes tear and may cause you to sneeze. Likewise, if someone with sneezing and runny eyes from hayfever takes homeopathic onion, the remedy produces the same symptoms, except its dosage is so small that it stimulates self-healing, and the tears and sneezing improve.

Does anyone have any suggestions for picking a homeopathic physician, things to look for, or advice for someone meeing with homeopathic doctors.

Homeopathy is a medical philosophy that helps the immune system regulate itself. I know homeopathy is considered to be safe, i am just not convinced though if its effective.

People often confuse homeopathy with herbology. The principles are ways apart.

Herbs, the way I use them, are customized (I make everything from scratch) into liquid extracts/tonics. They systematically feed the body in their whole-food form. Once the body receives the needed nutrients from these herb/food tonics, the body will heal itself. Simple and effective.

Homeopathy on the other hand is just as it was described above. However, another way of putting it into context is by saying that the principles behind its use is allopathic - that means it treats and relieves symptoms only. But it doesn't feed the body. In all fairness, herbal use has fallen into the same allopathic methods whereby they're being used to merely treat symptoms. I don't approve of using herbs in this manner. Atleast, I don't approve from a practitioner's stand-point.

With my programs, once the weaknesses are fed and strengthened (I'm big on liver tonics FIRST.), then the body begins the quick and efficient healing processes. Of course, other tonics are needed to reverse damage done over the years as a result of a sluggish liver. (I'm going to post more information soon on the Healthy Liver Functions on my forum if anyone is interested: cureyourbody.com/forums/viewforum/114/)

Sorry. I didn't mean to hijack someone's forum.

There is really nothing wrong with submitting to this, although it is always good to use homeopathy as "complementary" medicine - meaning, you complement it with conventional medicine. There is always no alternative to consulting a medical doctor.

In general, homeopathic remedies are targeted at other things than the illness itself, more towards healing the body as a whole, including the spirit. This is a fancy way of saying that if your mind wants you to be healthy, you are much more likely to get healthy -- the human body has amazing powers of regeneration and recovery, but most people ruin these through self-abusive behaviors.

Homeopathy is another type of treating your body with illness just in the comfort of your house - colds, cough, flu and fever - these are on tremendous disease or illness which you can treat even if your only in your house. If your sickness tends to be strong one, you have to seek medical advice or see a doctor for immediate treatment.

Yes, it’s very confusing and not answering the question well. This type of medicine consists of plants and herbs. They are usually drank in forms of liquid, capsules and tablets.

Yes, that is the main information on homeopathy. Herbalists use plants and herbs and give to patients for their disease. It is widely mistaken for being a home remedy or first aid for the illness.
