Has anyone tried Reiki for curing ailments? I heard that Reiki does cure! Please share your opinions and thoughts. Thanks.

I had a few reiki sessions to improve my sleep, as I was having terrible insomnia. It worked very well, and in my opinion was better than the prescribed medicines to help improve my sleep.

I've done experiments with Reiki. However, my experience has been a mixed one. Some times it works, some other times it doesn't work. I do not know whether the mistake lies with me!
I've read that prophets like Jesus used Reiki for healing. I invite the comments of fellow boarders on this topic.

Many diseases like Asthma, Allergy, Sinusitis, Arthritis, Blood pressure, Backpain, Cervical spondylitis, cold, diabetes, Gastric Ulcer, Scleroderma, piles, Hepatitis, Migraine, Menstrual problems can be healed with reiki. But you have to be trained to do this healing or else it won't work.

Reiki may not be 100% proven to cure all ailments. Even those who practice Reiki would also advise patients to see medical doctors especially for serious conditions. Why? Because Reiki is considered as a complementary medicine, and not replace conventional medicine.

Reiki healing is based on the belief that thoughts have the power to direct energy. Reiki works by raising the vibrations of the being or object to be healed, closer to that of the practitioner. In this process, the master selects a series of important points located along a person's energy field and guides them through higher vibrations of energy.

It worked well for me. I had backache and tension for 3 months. I had 4 sessions of Reiki and the pain has subsided, so I would recommend trying it.

The method is already posted but it simply deals with inner energy healing. The main concern is to relieve stress and its ability to cure other ailments.

This is kind of similar with meditation. Deep inner energy helps treat body of its ailments.

Yes, I think so. This has similarities with meditation since it uses inner energy to cure the ailments we feel.

Since this is an alternative way to treat ailments. I think Reiki is similar with meditation. As mango describes it, it uses inner meditation to treat diseases.

Did you ever participated in a pray over session? Their neither massages nor oils to be put. The practitioner would place their hands over the patient and gently touching the body.

I have done reiki and it fee;s so good after the session. YThis could really help us in rejuvenating those inner energy and remove away toxins.
