I want to add diets that promise to make you lose weight in a matter of days. There's no easy way to lose weight, unfortunately. :(

I thnk it is the opposite of that. Most diets will work well for the first few days, but then they taper off as your body's metabolism adjusts. I can't gaurantee that I am right though. Maybe the forum doc can answer. He's been missing in action? suspicious

I agree with wimsical. When you want to lose weight, your first choice is to do the latest fad diet? Often a quick 5 to 10 pounds will come off, then your old eating habits return and so will the pounds. soon you will be back to your original if not a higher weight. So much for the diet.

I think any diet that isn't a life change won't truly work. It's not about following a strict food plan, it's about learning to eat better all the time, and incorporating exercise into your life. That's the only way to really lose weight and keep it off.

I agree, but it is also about exercising, and maintaining a healthy balance of both in your life.

Any diet that asks you to skip meals dont work.
There is no short cut to lose weight quickly and be healthy. The only way to lose weight is to do it slowly, with a balanced diet and exercise.

There a lot of diet plans out there that you can try, but before trying it, research and conduct study of the diet plan first.

I think all diet program works as long as you have the patience, determination and discipline. Don’t ever drink diet pills they don’t work at all.

It’s hard to say what diet program that really doesn’t work. I agree with James, we are the ones who are not following the diet plan that’s why we don’t shed off enough pounds.

I tried the after 6pm diet program but it didn’t give me any result. I feel hungry around midnight and can’t resist eating a sandwich.

I've tried this diet program and it did work form me. The first couple of weeks will be difficult because your body is not in sync on your new program.

I have used diet pills before and didn’t help in any ways. It says it will help lose weight by cutting down your appetite, guess what it just maintains my weight and nothing happens.

The after 6pm diet plan doesn’t work at all. I have tried this and some of friends too but it didn’t give us any result.
