Xylitol is listed by the US Food and Drug Administration as an ingredient that is Generally Recognized as Safe and is included in chewing gum, toothpaste, mouthwash, chewable vitamins, lozenges and syrup. But just like chocolate it is harmful to dogs, it can cause a dangerous surge of insulin that results to weakness, collapse and seizures, within 24 hours the liver will be severely damage.

Xylitol is a naturally forming substance that tastes and looks like sugar. It has been approved for use since the 1960's. Clinical testing over the years has proved that Xylitol is the best sweetner for teeth as it may actually help reduce tooth decay.

Can you find a chewing gum with Stevia in it? It's also a sweetner and approved even for
Diabetics; in fact the ONLY one approved for Diabetics.

You can also use crystalline fructose. It is a type of artificial sweetener and has low glycemic index compare to sugar. It doesn’t require insulin to process.

I also find it hard to buy xylitol sweeteners but I have found many websites that selling them. The FDA has already approved it and they have tested that there are no side effects from using xylitol.

Although I don't have any solid evidence at hand to back this up, I read that Xylitol helps prevent the chances of getting female reproductive-related diseases, such as the PCOS, PMS, ovarian cysts, fibroids, etc.

That’s good to hear about the benefits of xylitol. I only see this xylitol as breath freshener and I never thought that it’s good for us women.

They are both artificial sweeteners and also called as sugar alcohols. They are not made from sugar but they are a good substitute for.

I think there is no difference between the two. They are both artificial sugar and don’t contain sugar at all.

Hello Friends......

Xylitol is an all-natural sweetener found in many fruits and vegetables, including raspberries and plums. It tastes and looks like sugar. Because it is all-natural, it differs substantially from artificially created chemical sweeteners

Thanks
