When I bend my elbow for long periods of times, sometimes when I’m typing I lose circulation in my arm and I get that tingly feeling. Is this normal or should I see a doctor?

I would be safe if I were you and see a doctor. It may just be poor circulation but it could also be something more serious.

This can be something as small as poor circulation - or as serious as a stroke.. SEE A DOCTOR.

I agree with both of you. Timothy, do not waste your time and see a doctor. Whatever it is, it might be in its earliest stage. Why taking a chance and waiting for the situation to worsen...

Even if it is not as serious as a stroke, still there is no use of waiting for the inevitable to happen and ruin the days coming in your life. Although it might be that the results prove existence of nothing in system, still you will feel much relaxed after confirming the same from a specialist.

There is no reason to be panicky in such a situation and if you have anything your mind in regards to your hand, then throw it off.. leave, it all on your Physician. They are surely going to give you a true picture of yourself.

I think its probably compression of your nerves and blood vessels that tend to give you the tingly feeling. Should not be reason to worry, but get it checked irrespective

Were you lying on it or had it elevated above your shoulders for a while? this could cause the circulation to slow down

Doctors say that if you feel numbness on your arm, it could lead to heart problems. When you have a heart problem, this can affect the blood circulation and might create complications on your other organs.
