My doctor has been insisting that I get Colon cancer tests done but I have been procastinating for over 5 years now. Does anyone have any experience regarding the same?

I don't have experience but I have this story to share: My friend's aunt has a family history of colon cancer, so she underwent colonoscopy at the age 40. It was one of the smartest decisions she made in her life, because they detected stage 1 cancer. Since this is an early stage of cancer, they were able to cure it, and she's 47 years old now, with no indications that she once had colon cancer. smile

I think it is. This is a new way to remove the tumor out of the colons and this is considered a minor type of surgery.

This is a tool to determine and check the stability and health of the intestines or the colons. I think this is not a surgery to remove tumor for colon cancer.

I think your correct Joe. This is a tool but another type of surgery for the intestines.
